I really am not too sure why. Mostly its been while doing different tasks in different applications. But as of the last 3 times, it has been while I was using the Broswer. Essentially, it just completely locks up no haptic feedback either and either resets itself, or else I have to hold teh ShiftAltDel to reset anyone else had this problem? I never use my physical keyboard. I would like a slim case to protect my phone and i don t care if the KB doesn t slide out at all. i would actually prefer it stay closed. Hard plastic or a soft silicone is ok with me. i have the soft rubber case around my work BB and it works perfect. I would love something like that for my droid. And i want one that doesn t raise too much over the screen. a coworker has a hard case for his iphone and it makes it hard to hit the touch screen on the borders. the case sits so high you have to put your finger or thumb almost verticle to touch the on screen keyboard. How would this be possible? I have never had a password on my droid and now that I have loaded v 2 it has told me that I need to create a password to get into the phone at the swipe lock everytime I use the phone I have to enter a password before swiping. Anyone know why? Ive seen DINC with the iphone lock screen look. Anyone know how to get this on the droid x?? I was just wondering if there was any other way to answer or end a call besides sliding or tapping the screen. I am concern that if I lose my phone, and it is found by an honest person, they will not know how to return it. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to display return information if the pattern lock is on? So I ve been dealing with the whole broken lock/power button issue for a while with my droid. Now I ve been looking into rooting it and was looking into the directions on how to do it when i realized you need to use the lock/power button in the whole rooting process. Is there any way around this? I am experiencing an issue where my phone is automatically putting itself into silent mode when a phone call is received or missed. I have read other forums the departed soundtrack rolling stones other Motorola Droid users are experiencing the same issue but the responses are that it is user error. I can promise you this is not user error. My ringer volume is at max however when a phone call is received I can literally watch the ringer go into silent mode indicated by a speaker with an X that shows up at top on the status bar as soon as the call is received. The phone doesn t even ring at all, it just goes straight to silent. After the call is received or missed, I will go to adjust my volume back up using the side volume bars and another weird thing happens instead of hitting the up button a few times, I hit it once and it goes back to max. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?
